How To Recover Google Photos


Today, everyone captures videos and photos on their mobile phone to keep track of their lives. However, the memory of these mobile phones has proved a big problem. This is because the storage of the phone occupies an important part of the phone's memory. This is when cloud storage is useful. If you do not have phone memory, you can transfer data to your cloud storage. This mainly means that you will not have to delete the photos or videos from the phone. However, sometimes, you may end up accidentally deleting the photos. The methods to recover the photos are detailed below.
1. Recovering directly from the trash
With Google, Photos arrives at a site known as Trash. This is mainly to store the photos you are deleting. The photos are saved up to 60 days. This means that it will restore accidentally deleted photos in 60 days. The steps to recover are,
• Start the Google photo application on your mobile phone.
• Click on the Menu button indicated with three bars. Here you will find the Trash option. Select this and you will notice the photos you have deleted.
• Mark the photos you want to restore or recover.
• Now, touch the Recover option and the photos will be saved once more.
However, you cannot recover it from the Trash after completing 60 days. Also, if the photos are backed up and updated to Google Photos, you won't find them in the Trash even after you delete them.
2. Recovery through Google support
When you have to recover photos that have been permanently deleted, you must do so with the help of the Google Drive support team. They will not ask you any questions to recover the photos. There has been an instance when permanently deleted photos were recovered that were deleted 21 days before. The steps are
• Go to the Google Drive help page and choose the deleted photos.
• Complete a form or talk to the specialist about how you can recover deleted photos.
3. Recovery on mobile phone
In case you cannot recover deleted photos from Trash since 60 days have passed or a backup has not been made, you can request the help of any third-party software to recover your photos. There are many alternatives available, but you must make sure you have chosen the safest one. Keep in mind that it's just about recovering the photos on your mobile phone. The steps to do this are,
• Download the tool and install it.
• Connect your phone to the PC and then enable USB debugging on your phone.
• Select the type of file you want to restore by going to Media, then to Gallery and clicking on the Next option. This will start the scan.
Choose deleted photos to recover and choose restore to save them to your desktop.
