Recover Google Chrome History

I check my Chrome history and conclude that I browse up to 200 pages and 34 sites daily. Maybe you surf much more than me. While some pages open involuntarily, if you have not added them to your bookmark, you are very likely to lose it in your mind.
The lucky thing is that Chrome has a feature called History where you can get the list of all the pages you've opened before unless you clear your browsing history. Opening the History tab in Chrome is easy. Click on the three-dot icon in the upper right corner and a drop-down menu will appear where you can find a History column, hover over it and click History in the opening menu on the right. Another easier way to open the history is simply by pressing Ctrl + H.
On the Chrome History tab, you can search your history and by clicking on more of this site behind each item, you can have a list of all pages visited with the same domain. What happens if you can't find your story? You may have deleted them, you may lose them due to reinstallation, you may find system failures that may lead to the inability to view your Chrome browsing history. Don't panic, you still have the opportunity to recover those deleted records.

On the History tab, you will see Tabs of other devices, which is a complementary function with which you can view Chrome browsing histories on other devices. If you are watching on the phone, just find it by touching the three-dot icon and touching the Recent tabs, here you will have all your recent history on all your devices. Only if you’re signed in to your Google account with Chrome on all devices, can you enjoy this cross-device history feature? So, this is the first method of how to recover deleted history in Google Chrome when viewing them on other devices.
While there are two situations in which you could find the preview history:
1. Your desired history had not been synchronized with other devices before deleting them.
2. Your deletion action has been synchronized with other devices, which means that the history has been deleted simultaneously.
Can't you find your history with this method? Then, you can try to search the history in Google My Activity, where you will find that your activities are displayed in a more organized way.
Way 2: recover deleted Chrome history by viewing Google Activity

Go to myactivity.google.com in your browser and sign in with your Google account. Here all the activities that you generated with Google products will be recorded, sorted by search, Gmail, Android, web browsing history and more. You can locate your history by category, date or devices. And you can even search your Chrome browsing history, which can be a shortcut for you.
Way 3: recover deleted Chrome history using a Google Takeout backup file

Google takeout is a service that allows you to download your content to the Google account to make a backup or use it with an external service. Instead, you can download all of its content or just Chrome activities. So, if you are in the habit of backing up Chrome data by downloading Google takeout data regularly, then you can recover your deleted Chrome history by viewing the history in the downloaded backup file.
Way 4: recover deleted Chrome history with data recovery software
Chrome generates a file to store browsing history on Windows or macOS. The name of the file is "History" and it looks like this. Once you have deleted or deleted your history, the file is deleted and Chrome generates a new one when you start viewing other pages later. Fortunately, all files deleted on Windows or macOS can be recovered with the appropriate tool, here I suggest you try the data recovery software to recover the Chrome browsing history file.
To restore the Google Chrome history file, you must follow the steps below, since the file is very small and fragile.
Step 1. Install Data Recovery on your Windows or Mac, remember to install it on a disk other than the one that stores the history file.
Step 2. Start the program, select Other as the type of file to scan and the correct unit that stores the Chrome history file. Click on the Scan button and let the program do its job.
Step 3. When the analysis process is finished, you will get thousands of files. Searching for the file by entering "history" in the search box is a more efficient way to locate it. Finally, check the box below the item you want and click Recover.
Then, just make sure the file is repositioned in the place where Chrome’s history is saved. As for your reference, Chrome exploits directories in Windows and macOS as follows:
Windows: C: \ Users \ [your username] \ AppData \ Local \ Google \ Chrome \ User Data \ Default
macOS: / Users / $ USER / Library / Application Support / Google / Chrome / Default /
Restart your Chrome and press Ctrl + H to see your browsing history.
