Every now and then, you want or need to change your password, whether you've forgotten the old one or just feel like it's time to change it. In this article, we'll show you how to change your Gmail password, on desktop, on Android, and on iOS.
From

When you have logged into your Gmail account and the Gmail
inbox page, click on your profile photo at the top left and go to "Manage
your Google account".

Gmail your password
You will now be prompted to re-enter your current password
to verify that you are the account owner. This is for security reasons: in case
you have left your account connected somewhere, no one other than you can
change your password.
Verify
your old password
Finally, you must enter your new password twice. Remember to
choose a strong password and not to use the same password on different
websites; your Facebook password must not be the same as your Gmail password.

Tip: a strong password should be as long as possible.
Passwords must be a minimum of 10 characters long, but the longer the better. A
strong password must also contain a combination of uppercase, lowercase,
numbers, and symbols. Passwords should not consist of a single word,
"Password1!" is not safe. Avoid your own name or the name of a pet or
child, and instead go for something impossible to guide.

Android
To change your Gmail password on Android, you must first
click on the hamburger menu at the top of the search bar. Then select the
"Settings" option near the bottom.

"Personal Information" tab and tap on the password box in the middle
of the page.
