Yahoo is a very popular free email service provider. This guide will help you configure your Outlook program to access your email, instead of relying on the web interface. Before you start:
Verify password
Before setting up, take a moment to visit the web version of
your email and try to log in. You will need to remember your password to
complete the setup.

Settings on Outlook
1. Let applications like Outlook use a less secure login. This
must be enabled to configure the account. Login to
https://login.yahoo.com/account/security, scroll down and enable settings.
2. Open Outlook.
3. Click the File menu.
4. Click Add Account.
5. Select Manual configuration or additional server types and
click Next.
6. Select POP or IMAP. Click Next.
7. Within the POP and IMAP account settings, fill in your name
and full email address.
8. For Server Information, select IMAP for Account Type. The
incoming mail server must be configured at imap.mail.yahoo.com and the outgoing
mail server (SMTP) must be configured at smtp.mail.yahoo.com.
9. Next to Login Information, enter your username and password
and check the checkbox next to Remember password. Then click on the More
Settings button.
10. Go to the Outgoing Server tab. Enable My outgoing server
(SMTP) requires authentication and Use the same settings as my incoming mail
server.
11. Go to the Advanced tab. For port settings, set Incoming
server (IMAP) to 993 with SSL encryption, then set Outgoing server (SMTP) to
587 with TLS encryption.
12. Click OK and then Next when done.
13. Click Close if the account is successfully logged in.
14. Click Finish.
